Un âge idéal pour apprendre les langues
Entre 18 mois et 5 ans, les enfants apprennent les langues en écoutant, en imitant et en jouant, sans effort apparent. Ils ne « étudient » pas une langue : ils la vivent. Une chanson au moment du regroupement, une histoire avant le temps calme, une consigne pendant un jeu… chaque situation du quotidien devient une occasion d’entendre et d’utiliser des mots nouveaux.

Concrètement, l’année est organisée en unités thématiques (notre monde, les dinosaures, l’espace…), avec des objectifs de développement clairs et un suivi individuel de chaque enfant grâce à des observations et un portfolio.
3. L’apprentissage actif
Les enfants planifient ce qu’ils veulent faire, agissent, puis racontent ce qu’ils ont réalisé. Ce cycle « planifier, agir, raconter » les rend acteurs de leurs apprentissages. Un enfant de 18 mois et un enfant de 4 ans n’ont pas les mêmes besoins. C’est pourquoi nos classes sont organisées par âge :
- Toddlers (18 mois – 3 ans) : des routines rassurantes, beaucoup de mouvement, de musique et de jeu libre.
- Preschool (3 – 4 ans) : des projets, du travail en groupe et un grand pas vers l’autonomie.
- Pre-K (4 – 5 ans) : davantage d’éveil à la lecture et à l’écriture, et une vraie préparation à la grande école.
5. Des journées riches et variées
Jardinage, arts plastiques, musique, pleine conscience et yoga, motricité, éveil aux chiffres et aux lettres, sorties à la ferme, au théâtre, en forêt ou au zoo… Les journées à B.smart sont pleines de découvertes. Une organisation pensée pour les familles
Des horaires adaptés
La crèche est ouverte du lundi au vendredi de 7 h 45 à 17 h, avec un accueil prolongé possible jusqu’à 17 h 30. Le mercredi, les classes se terminent à 12 h.
L’année scolaire et le camp d’été
L’année scolaire s’étend de septembre à juin. En juillet, nous proposons un camp d’été à nos élèves, pour continuer à apprendre et à s’amuser pendant les vacances.

La crèche est dirigée par Tânia, directrice et psychologue, et Cristina, directrice pédagogique. Toutes deux sont disponibles pour répondre à vos questions et vous accompagner à chaque étape.

Choosing a crèche is one of the first big decisions parents make. Since 2014, B.smart has welcomed children aged 18 months to 5 years in Hay Riad, Rabat, in a French-English bilingual setting. In this article, we explain what makes our crèche unique, what a day looks like, and why so many families in Rabat trust us with their children.
Our belief is simple: every child learns at their own pace and in their own way. Our role is to give them a warm, structured and stimulating setting where they can explore, play, ask questions and grow in confidence, in French and in English.
Why bilingual from early childhood?
An ideal age for learning languages
Between 18 months and 5 years, children learn languages by listening, imitating and playing, with no apparent effort. They don’t “study” a language: they live it. A song at circle time, a story before quiet time, an instruction during a game… every moment of the day is a chance to hear and use new words.
At B.smart, French and English are part of every moment of the day. Children pick them up naturally, the way they learn to walk: by practising, surrounded by caring adults who encourage them.
An advantage for the rest of their schooling
In Morocco, where several languages are part of daily life, growing up with French and English is a real advantage. Children exposed early to two languages start kindergarten with more confidence, especially when families are considering an international or bilingual school. B.smart is a member of the International Curriculum Association (ICA), a UK organisation that designs curricula for international schools. We follow its early years programme, the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC). In practice, the year is organised into themed units (Our World, Dinosaurs, Space…), with clear developmental goals and individual follow-up for every child through observations and a portfolio.

4. Three levels for three ages
An 18-month-old and a 4-year-old have different needs. That is why our classes are organised by age:
- Toddlers (18 months – 3 years): comforting routines, lots of movement, music and free play.
- Preschool (3 – 4 years): projects, group work and a big step towards independence.
- Pre-K (4 – 5 years): more early reading and writing, and real preparation for big school.
5. Rich and varied days
Gardening, arts, music, mindfulness and yoga, movement, early numbers and letters, trips to the farm, the theatre, the forest or the zoo… Days at B.smart are full of discoveries. We also celebrate Moroccan festivals and those of other countries, so children discover the cultures around them.

A typical day at B.smart
The day follows a clear routine that gives children landmarks while leaving plenty of room for free play and personal choice. Organised around families
Convenient hours
The crèche is open Monday to Friday from 7:45 am to 5 pm, with extended care available until 5:30 pm. On Wednesdays, classes finish at 12 pm.
The school year and summer camp
The school year runs from September to June. In July, we run a summer camp for our children, so they can keep learning and having fun during the holidays.
